TO SHARE IS TO CARE
As the Syrian refugee crisis continues the KATARINA WALDENSTROM brand is reaching out to our community and ask each of you to take a few moments to check your wardrobe and donate one or two clean wearable items you no longer need.
Drop by our showroom, Torstensonssgatan 12, Stockholm, on Mondays, starting on the 14th of September, between 9am – 1pm to leave your donation with us.
Each item should be individually wrapped and it would be wonderful if you included a short personal note welcoming women into the wonderful space and sisterhood
we have been lucky to create here in Stockholm.
Sharing is caring. So please, share this with your friends as well.
Cozy Days, Cozy Nights, Cosy Life
Autumn has arrived and this means shorter days and nights. Do you curl up on the sofa, perhaps with a good book and a cup of warming tea? Or maybe you gather together a friend or two for a heart to heart chat that spins endlessly into the night.
The cosiness of autumn allows us to take a step back and find space for ourselves. When we have these moments we want to feel relaxed, yet put together.
The KATARINA WALDENSTROM Collection offers the perfect pieces for these moments: stylish, effortlessly elegant, yet so very relaxed and at ease.
Whether it’s a feather light poncho in cashmere or wonderfully relaxed pant with an edge, our collection will take you through those lovely, cosy autumnal evenings.
My take on sustainability
In order to make and keep the energy we need and want in our daily lives I want to create the conditions that make ourselves and the world around us sustainable. Dare to give yourself the space you need to be you and to fill your own needs. KW
As long time fans of Ukraine’s Vita Kin it hasn’t surprised us to see her taking the fashion world by storm. Like Katarina Waldenström, Vita Kin believes in season-less fashion.
“My collections are created not according to the season by by inspiration,”
Vita Kin recently told Harpers Bazaar.
This perfectly reflects what we believe at KATARINA WALDENSTROM: no more dictating seasons. Instead, we believe that wardrobes must have space to grow,
with perfect pieces from which to build your own personal style.
Vita Kin’s use of traditional embroidery and patterns has inspired Katarina Waldenström to create KW Craft. In 2016 we will look for crafts made by women, to explore and fit in to the KW Collection. We feel this will enhance the collection enormously and
give further inspiration to both ourselves and our clients.
